Appearance:
Charlie is a slightly taller than average female falling at 5"8 with a lean, thin build. She has a fair peach complexion that tends to stand out when she goes on one of her hair dying sprees. Her long, thick hair often changes color at least once every two months; Charlie has gone from a vibrant red to a deep red, golden blonde to pale black; currently she is sporting a brownish auburn. One of Charlie's favorite things about her appearance is her eyebrows. While her eyebrows are thick, they are shaped, and colored to go with any of her hair color changes.
When it comes to clothes, Charlie doesn't put much effort forth but somehow can accomplish looking stylish on a level. When she gets dressed in the morning, her ultimate goal is to go for comfort over style. She is always wearing a t-shirt or racer back tank that either hangs over a pair of cutoff shorts or jeans or is tucked into a short skirt. If she wears a dress it is often form fitting though she isn't against a sun dress now and then. When it comes to shoes, Charlie loves them; but her meager income can't support her love. She has a few pairs of converses, some flats, a few casual boots, and an odd assortment of heels.

Personality:
Charlie has always been a relatively sociable person. She gets along with most people and has a sense of humor that is hard to not find funny. She is one of those people that is rather hard to get on the nerves of and when someone does, well they would have done something extreme. One of her escapes from her crappy home life was being able to go to school and hang out with her friends before returning to her own personal 'hell'. Dropping out of school in Charlie's mind was one of her greatest mistakes, though a necessity at the time. So now she is eager to learn whatever she can and will find time to sit back with a history book or venture off to a museum; she also reads the paper everyday.
One of the things about Charlie is that she is beyond self conscious. A lot of people see her and think she carries herself like a confident person; but she is far from. Charlie, most of the time, hates who she is in life. She never thinks she is good enough and because of that she is a very determined person. Her dreams of becoming a model come from her self boost from people calling her pretty or telling her she is photogenic; she thrives off the compliments of other people. But she'll never fish for a compliment or make anyone think that she is self conscious. She plays a confident card pretty well and doesn't let people see past her friendly side.

History Overview;
Charlie is the outcome of an affair between her mother and her boss. Her mother, Linda, was the secretary of a prestigious lawyer and like most do, she became infatuated by her employer. After weeks are pursuing him, William Logan, gave in to the advances by Linda. It only took a few times before Linda was pregnant. Seeing as how William was a married man he couldn't have his name tarnished by having a child with his secretary. So he paid Linda a decent sum of money and laid Linda off stating he would rather use a personal assistant rather than a secretary.
The money that William gave Linda was good enough to support her and her newborn baby girl, Charlotte, nicknamed Charlie, for two years. The two lived comfortably in a small house and Linda basked in the money she had. But then the money started dwindling and because of having a child, Linda was unable to work. Needing to relax from the stress of money, Linda started drinking heavily and leaving her daughter home in the middle of the night to go party. Linda saw Charlie's fifth birthday as a celebration for herself and her drunk antics that night led to a second pregnancy.
This time it was a dealer, Frank Tyler, who knocked Linda up. The man being homeless at the time saw this as an opportunity and moved into the small two bedroom house with Linda and Charlie. Charlie being only five wanted to befriend this new father like figure but the man wanted nothing to do with the curious little girl. All he wanted to do was eat all their food, bed her mom, and bring his 'clients' to the house. The only good thing he did, after the birth of Janelle, was get a job collecting trash. It barely supported the household but put food on the table for the four of them.
As Charlie grew up, things started to get worse. Since Frank was still dealing on the side he was letting Linda test all his new products. Linda soon got hooked and started spending any extra money on her next fix. Most days Charlie was left to watch after her little sister and miss school. By the time Charlie was fourteen she was able to get an under the table job at a diner washing dishes in the back; once she started bringing her nine year old sister they fired her. Until she was sixteen, Charlie worked odd and end jobs like babysitting or helping neighbors to get extra cash for the bills and food.
On her sixteenth birthday, Charlie got her mom to sign the papers for her to drop out of high school and she was able to get a job at McDonalds. The job was crap and Charlie hated it, but she would take frozen burgers or buns home with her to store in the freezer. Any time she spent not working, Charlie spent trying to find any extra money. At one point a local store paid her a small sum to take her picture in their clothes to use for advertising. After that, Charlie got the dream to become a model. She did whatever she could to find modeling work; most were scams or small businesses who felt bad for the girl. Right before her eighteenth birthday Charlie found what she thought was a real deal talent agent. The guy told her she was beautiful and wasn't asking for any money. He set her up with a photographer and showed her all the magazines she could pose for; Charlie was beyond excited. Then one night, in all her excitement, gave her virginity up to the 'talent agent'. The next day all the mans numbers were disconnected and he seemed to have jumped town. It was heartbreaking to Charlie.
Shortly after turning eighteen, seeing the money she made at McDonalds wasn't enough, Charlie got a job as a dancer at a nightclub. At least with this job she was getting to do something other than deal with greasy food and picky customers. She was also bringing home a bit more money that she right away put toward her now teenage sister.
As of current, Charlie is still doing the same thing. She lives with her mom, Frank, and Janelle; Charlie pays most of, if not all, of the bills. Her top priority is giving her sister a good life so she doesn't have to follow in her footsteps or their mom's.

Coming home from another long shift at the nightclub wasn't one of the things that Charlie looked forward to. She didn't even have to get off the front step and walk through the front door to know what she would find. Frank would be lounging across the long couch with a beer in hand as he watched some vulgar late night television. Her mother would be tweaked out and curled up on the recliner, probably picking at her cuticles as she mumbled to herself. By this time, her beloved younger sister would be fast asleep on her bed in their shared room; most likely with headphones over her ears to block out a fight Frank and their mom had earlier in the night. These were daily occurrences at her house, sometimes it was different like Frank had some customers over or her mom took an upper and decided to attempt housework. But it mostly this; they'd be in the living room while trash and empty food containers stunk up the place. She would be up early in the morning just to clean the house.
Thought of being up in a few short hours to play the housewife game made Charlie sigh and lean forward, pushing her long auburn hair back out of her face. Sometimes she just wanted to get up and leave; take a nights money and get on a bus to Los Angeles, she had enough right now. Maybe not enough for food or a place to live; but enough to leave. But because of her younger sister, the fear of what might happen to her, she couldn't just up and leave. No one took care of her sister but her, all Janelle had in the world was her. So she had to stay and be strong for her, no matter how much it sucked.
Charlie sighed again then leaned back, resting her head against the door as she stared up at the sky. She may not of been able to leave, but she didn't have to go in to the usual site just yet. She bit her lip slightly then got up and turned to look at the chipping red front door. Charlie stared for a few moments before adjusting her tote bag over her shoulder, crossing her arms across her tank topped chest, and turning to walk down the short walkway to the street. She would take a walk, take sometime to herself, then go back and do what she did best.
