Appearance:
Owning a charming smile and a pretty face, Dom is a young man who considers himself attractive. He's got brown eyes and laugh lines despite his young age. He has thick dark brown hair that he keeps cut relatively short. It's naturally curly and often gets in the way of his face when he lets it grow too long, and he has to shower on a daily basis or else it gets horribldy greasy looking. Dom's pretty good when it comes to hygiene - he keeps his face shaved, brushes his teeth at least once each day, showers regularily. He's 5'10" tall and weighs in at about 145 pounds, making him about an average build. He's skinny, but not the sort of skinny that can give you a six pack without even trying.
Dom's attire is generally simple. He likes to wear dark and neutral colours (eg, browns, greens, greys) more than brighter colours. He wears loose jeans throughout most of the year, always held up by a belt because he doesn't even want to risk looking like the wannabe gangsters who let their pants sag below their butts. In the summe he often goes shirtless and wears shorts. Skating shoes are his choice of foot attire all year long.

Personality:
Though he doesn't know it, Dominic's personality takes after that of his father an incredible amount. While his mother was needy and would do anything for attention, his father swelled in people willing to pay attention to him and just gave off generally good vibes - perhaps that was how Dominic came in to creation in the first place. He's strong willed and slightly full of himself but over all a very friendly, very caring personality and a love to care for those who need him. He has a wide circle of friends with even more acquaintences, and he's willin gto talk to pretty much anyone who wants anything to do with him.
He says before he thinks, though - and he does before he thinks as well. Quick to act on whatever whim flies in to his mind, Dominic is impuslve and can be reckless. He doesn't do anything life risking or anything, but one of these days he's going to have one of his "brilliant" ideas and it's going to go wrong. He believes in karma, but despite that he still acts a bit in a way that could give him some negative karma. He's slightly homophobic - though he'll reject the idea to the end of the earth and he says that it's okay, it's only okay as long as you don't flaunt in in public. He won't say that out loud, of course, but that's how he feels about it.

History Overview;
Dom was brought up pretty well, given the state of his family life. Born the third child of a single mother, things were always quite tight. Mom was always out working, though Dominic never did know what exactly his mother did for a living. His father wasn't in the picture at all - not even for weekend visits. Dominic eventually developed a hatred of the man who fathered him because of his absense in Dom's life.
The two older siblings, Lily and Jason, were Dom's primary caretakers as a young child. Lily was nine and Jason was seven when Dominic was born, and while the older siblings loved to play jokes on him they overall loved him. Well, eventually. At first Jason was incredibly jealous of the attention that momma gave the new baby, and he hated Dominic for the first about five years of his life. When mom would work late nights, it was his older siblings who kept a careful eye on him, made sure he was fed, went to bed, all those things. When mom would come home drunk with various men, it was his siblings who sheltered him from such sights. They became his lifeline.
Growing up was awkward for Dom. He was seven when his mother met the man that she's now married to, and within a month of meeting Hannah was pregnant again. This man, Brandon, was years older than Hannah was and came with a daughter of his own just a year younger than Dominic was. Brandon and Hannah married a year after baby Naomi came around - and Dom hated both Brandon and Naomi. He never quite grew out of his dislike for his mother's husband, but he grew to love Naomi like Jason had done with him.
His early pubescent years were the awkward part. Not knowing what to do with himself or the feelings going on his body, and unable (or unwilling) to ask his mom or Brandon about it, it was just horrible. Dominic found himself heavily attracted to his step sister Carmen and stayed that way for a couple years. Actually, it stayed that way for waay longer than a couple years. One night when he was fifteen, Dominic had a mini party with him and a bunch of friends - there was booze there. And weed, but that part hadn't been expected, and it had been his friend Elijah who had brought that to the table. Dominic and Carmen ended up drunk, and that was the night that Dom lost his v-card. Little did he know that Carmen had lost hers at thirteen, but that's beside the point.
Life between the two was never the same after that. In fact, they rarely talked after that night, and their parents never found out what they did together on their big king sized bed.
High school was a relatively decent time for Dominic. He got along with a lot of people, and he found himself immersed in friendships. It was fantastic. In his grade nine computers class he met a kid named Elijah who, though troubled and unsociable, grew to be his closest friend and confidant. The pair bonded during quiet moments in the computer lab, stuck together and trying to work out the kinks of photoshop as young grade nines to playing halo in his living room in senior year. Dominic was pretty much the only reason that Elijah ever really seemed to have a good time, at least in his eyes.
Dominic moved out of his house after he graduated from college. Knowing that Eli hated his home life, he offered to let the other boy share an apartment with him. Eli took the offer, and now they live together. Now he's about to start his second year in a graphic design program at the local college, and he's stumbling to get his life together - he follows the motto that "if something's meant to be, it will happen" and with that, he does his best not to stress too much about the future and everything.
