Appearance:
Aria is a pretty normal-looking girl, if not slightly on the attractive side. She's just above average in height, clocking in at 5 feet, 5 inches tall and she has a slightly lean build to her body. Aria has pale green eyes flecked with an even paler, almost grey, shade. Her eyes are almost always lined by mascara, which she enjoys the look of, and a light line of eyeliner. These things, to accentuate her eyes, are the only bits of make-up that cover Aria's face outside of light coverup.
Ar's hair is naturally straight, though not as much as she makes it, and is a light shade of brown in color. The young woman likes to dye it. The common style of her hair is bright red, layered and cut to her shoulders with bangs. She regularily straightens it.

Personality:
Aria is a generally happy go lucky young woman with a bright, but clouded at times, look on the world and a desire to be close to people. Aria grew up as a happy child and remained that way for the most part, though after her parents divorce and a few unlucky events during her high school years her naive, "perfect" view on the world changed drastically. She doesn't have depression or anything of the sort, but she does have the odd episode where she's sad for no given reason, and she feels like a lot of the time she isn't in control of her emotions. That makes her struggle for order in any way possible to make up for the percieved error in her ways. Though she doesn't mean to, she often comes of as chaotic and controlling because of the way her need for order portrays itself.
She's generally outgoing, however, and she likes to try new things - it would take next to nothing to convince Aria to skydive if she was asked, as an example. She'd be terrified when she was actually in the air, given her fear of heights and especially falling, but she would still do it. She loves the feeling of exhileration that it gives her when she tries new things. She spends a lot of time either with friends or doing things in her room - drawing, listening to music, earning more guitar as of recently. Aria is slightly a feminist in the sense that she believes women should have equal rights, but with the way most feminists are automatically viewed as extremists who hate men, she doesn't actively say that. She voices her opinions when she has them, though - equality, abortion, everything. Aria can be quite opinionated when she really wants to be.

History Overview;
Her parents had been married on Christmas eve, baby already on the way and completely believing that they loved each other more than anything in the world. Aria doesn't remember that day, as she hadn't been born - but she definitely had existed. Five months after their wedding, a beautiful baby girl came along and gave them the start of the family that they had been aching for. Miscarriages wrought the next four years of their life as they tried to bring another little one in to their family, only for Winnie to fall pregnant right as they'd decided to give up trying. A bouncing baby boy, who they named Carter Samuel Wright, joined the little family that year on March 12th.
Her childhood had been great - Aria had doting parents, who gave her almost everything that she wanted. She wasn't spoiled, she wasn't handed things the moment that she asked for them or anything - naturally, she had to earn them. When her little brother came along, Aria had been ecstatic, and quickly got in to the groove of being a big sister to her little man. She grew up as the protective sibling, always happy and caring, and Carter grew up always feeling the love.
No one's story is perfect, however, and everything's got to fall before it rises again. Aria was fourteen when her parents divorced - all she had known about it was that they had been fighting for a while. She learned after her father moved out the reason why. Though he kept it from her and her brother, he'd fallen in to alcoholism, and he'd started getting... angry at Winnie whenever he was drunk. He'd hit her, too. His daughter quickly took to hating him, deciding that her family falling apart was his fault and that he'd become a disgusting creature with the way he acted. James quickly lost his job after the divorce, and took to welfare and drinking instead of getting a new one. Aria only saw him minimally, about twice a month, until she was sixteen. That was when she decided to cut off all contact. Still bearing the same negative view of the man who supplied her second x chromosome, she hasn't seen him since.
Her time in school was relatively easy-going. Aria took arts courses, especially music, and sciences. She decided that she wanted to go through for the bachelor of science in biology and then become a music and biology teacher, while taking a year off of school before she started her higher education. She also decided that she wanted to be in a band of some sorts, maybe get famous. She got her band when she was fifteen, she was the drummer. That plan quickly flaked and she's ached a little to get back in to it ever since. It's nothing that she's going to force it, though, and she's starting to see her band dream as mostly a thing of her early high school years. She's had a few friends that she's retained throughout her high school career to now, but most of the people that she associates with aren't much more than acquaintences.
After graduating from high school in June, Aria opted to take a year off of school before heading out to college - or, at least, that's her plan as long as it doesn't get ruined. She's got a job working at the HMV in the mall in march to save up a bit of cash for both school and herself, and she's aching to get out and explore the world at the same time. At the beginning of July, she moved out of her home with her parents and in to an apartment with one of her best friends, which is where she currently resides. She began to teach herself guitar at around that time.

With the calm day before her, Aria had decided that it was the ample occasion to get out of her apartment and have a nice, relaxing trip - which, to the young woman, generally meant heading to either a small place in the woods that she had claimed as her own many years ago or making her way to the beautiful Seria Park. Today she just so happened to choose the latter - it appealed to the spunky redhead a little more than adventuring through the woods today - that was a task best left for when you were accompanied by other people. At least, that's how it was to Aria, she was unsure about what went through other peoples' minds. (And in this moment, frankly, it didn't even matter at all!)
The park was just as calm as she had expected it to be - an abundance of children raced around playing around the playground, a couple young girls were swinging carelessly, because they had not a care in the world just yet. It made Aria remember the days when she had been that young - and she wasn't the type to reminisce about such things. Her childhood had been great, though, so it wasn't like she could say that she had it worse than these children, or feel bad for what was coming for them. As long as they were well adjusted, their adult lives would hopefully turn out relatively okay.
The young woman walked aimlessly through the grassy fields, her hands resting loose in the pockets of her jean shorts and her eyes wandering - scanning the fields for something to catch their attention. At a calm, slow gait she passed by the pond, watching children, and some older people who she assumed to be their parents, swimming in its depths. Their faces lit up with glee, and it was obvious that they were having a great time together.
Aria had, without realizing it, ended up heading for a small spot on the hill that she usually found herself attracted to - though her location was atop the hill. Her eyes scanned the area just in time to see another young woman lying peacefully in the grass, and a soft smile danced on Aria's lips - apparently she wasn't the only one with this idea.
Did she say something? Did she not? The girl was alone - would she appreciate company or would trying to talk to her lead to rejection? Being the optimist in this moment, Aria slowly approached the other female hopefully. "Uh, hey!" She said, wearing a friendly smile on her face and bright eyes.
