History Overview;
Enzo was born to a middle class Mexican-American family, lived his life in Houston, Texas. A city well known for its rap legends, oil refineries, many gangs, and heavy Drug Cartel activity. His father was an active duty Army Officer, who was always on deployment. His mother worked late nights as a LVN, he was usually left with other members of family to care for him. Till he reached a certain age when he could stay home on his own. Enzo was never much of a trouble maker as a young boy, he was always a good student unless provoked. Up until her Entered the Eighth grade, he had done well to stay out of trouble. Till he was introduced to drugs and his older cousin moved from Eagle Pass, Texas a border town.
By time Enzo had reached the end of his eighth grade year, he had been in multiple fights. Had been put on probation for Possession of Marijuana, lost his virginity, was drinking and throwing parties at home while his mother was at work. When entering his Freshman year, he started to deal Marijuana to his classmates. He saw opportunity, he was just a freshman but had older cousins who went to the same school, and other high schools around the city. They were in different grades as well, so he would have customers not only in different grades but different locations. Enzo saw the potential for profit, his cousin Tommy was more than happy to supply him since he had connections with cartel members back in his old town. Enzo was caught several times by the cops outside of school, but he was never caught with more than enough to get him a misdemeanor charge.
He felt invincible, by time he had reached the end of his sophomore year. He was driving to school in his own car, the car wasn’t under his name nor was the insurance but there were ways around that. Quickly rising to the top, he found himself being watched by the cops at every turn. Although he managed to not raise any eye brows with the schools staff, maintaining high grades and even playing on the basketball and football teams in school. He had girls after him like crazy, although whenever he fell into relationships the ended horrible, one year he had a girl he was dating bring her other boyfriend to a football game to make him jealous since she heard he had kissed another girl (which was false). Another girl he had fallen for had been keeping a relationship with her ex boyfriend behind his back. In the end she found out she was pregnant by her other boyfriend, leaving Enzo heart broken.
Enzo soon forgot about relationship, focusing on school and his growing business. His cousin Tommy had soon found himself deep in the “drug game” and had found his way into a Cartel related Gang. Enzo saw the power his cousin wielded around their section of town, and he wanted that. He wanted to be more than just a Drug dealer, he wanted to be seen as a business man. No matter what the business may be, he fell in love with the ideal. Knowing his he studied hard and sold even harder, he would be able to be like the mobsters in movies. Owning legitimate business’s while running criminal activities from them. Soon he found out the “high life” was not so grand, as time passed he grew apart from his best friend Michael. Enzo had heard stories that his best friend had impregnated a freshman girl, and was strung out on Meth. When going over to where Michael was said to hang out, Enzo realized how far his friend had fallen. Offering to help him, Enzo employed him as a seller. His friend had quickly risen back to his feet, but his greed took the better of him.
One Sunday night Enzo received a call from his cousin Tommy, urging him to come over to a warehouse where they stashed shipments of drugs. When arriving he saw Michael tied to a chair, his cousin and his “people” had beaten him. Tommy informed him they had caught Michael stealing “loads”, along with two others who already been “taken care of”. Enzo was furious, he had given this man a chance to redeem himself and helped him rise from the bottom. An this is how he was repaid, how could his friend betray his trust in such a way. In the heat of his anger, Enzo began to beat Michael himself. Asking him why he would do something like this to help him, Michael only replied in pain “Fuck you”. Turning around, and grabbing a gun from one of Tommy’s “people” he shot Michael in the head. That night everything changed, Enzo had not been himself for several weeks after that.
With his mind not in the right place, he was pulled over for speeding. As the cops searched his car, he had forgotten to place the two ounces of Marijuana in his safety box in his truck. He was arrested and spent his entire Junior/Senior summer in county jail. When he was released his parents were fed up with it, kicking him out of the house if he was not going to listen to their rules. Enzo was close to his mother and felt abandoned by her, his father was not around much so his hate for him only grew. He never walked the street homeless, he had plenty of money saved up. So him and two other friends moved in to a two bedroom apartment, they partied like kings. His friends had dropped out of school thinking they could just sale drugs forever, but Enzo knew this life was not one that you lived forever. So dispite their jokes, he continued to attended his last year of high school. Graduating with honors, his parents came back into his life although they were still disappointed in his lifestyle urging him to leave an attend college before it was to late.
After high school he continued to sale drugs, and worked at a call center as a cover. While people and friends he knew from high school, sold his drugs for him. Life was good once again, money was rolling although they had found themselves in a few crazy and dangerous situations. They were still living, and making money. Enzo had escaped death several times, as other gangs began to see him as a threat and classified him, his friend and workers as a gang. Even though they claimed no colors, had no name simple just sold drugs. Turning to his Cousin Tommy for help, which led to a sea of blood and a cleansing of the neighborhood. Enzo had new blood on his hands, and his payment was nightmares. As Enzo reached the age of nineteen, his father had fallen sick with unknown type of cancer. Dying six months later, Enzo showed at the hospital to support his mother. One day he found himself alone with his father, who apologized for not being around and not showing him the love he should have. An he regretted that he would die not knowing who his second son truly was. Enzo forgave him, but felt regret he never had gotten the chance to know his father deeply.
After his father’s death, Enzo’s mother fell into a deep depression and eventually she was diagnosed with Alheimerzs. His only brother took her to a suburb near Houston, where Enzo would visit her every few days. Each month that passed she forgot everyone more and more, till she passed a year later of heat complications but he knew she died of a broken heart. Enzo soon realized he had very few things left for him there, his friends were starting to lose touch with him only seeing him when it came to business time. They were starting up gangs of their own, and falling into that life style. They were no longer his employees nor his friends; they had slowly become nothing more than his customers. One night while going over his ledger of drug deals and hidden money laundering accounts, he received a e-mail from a college in Ohio. Offering him information of the Business program offered at that school, he became interested and soon an idea popped into his head. He would start all over again, a new city, with new people, which he figured would be ripe for the picking. A college town, with a high school and a private academy, he would have customer’s galore. Seeing as it was Ohio, he figured the chance of running into gang trouble there, especially in a town like the one the college located in. It was highly unlikely he would find himself in life threatening situations, he just had to play everything smart and plan everything out. He had to talk to his cousin about this plan… /quote]

Roleplay Sample; Rodrigo watched as Emperor Thracius over looked the documents; he seemed to be taking to his words. As he finished Rodrigo met him eye to eye, with a nod to his request to go and speak to his council members. It was understandable, this was a very risky request Rodrigo was making. It was not a subject to take lightly, the threat to the security of his land was in question. With the addition of another nationality of people to ones land, would always create some tension. Not to mention the possibility of murders, thieves, and disease. Rodrigo was hoping for an answer today, at the end of this meeting. He knew this was a farfetched idea; such a decision was rarely so easily taken to. Even with the benefits of the deal, there are still the cons to consider. He had done everything he had so far to pitch his idea to Emperor Thracius, in his own mind he had covered almost every angle making the idea seem perfect.
As the emperor walked out of the room, Rodrigo relaxed a little. He was trying his best to keep his composure, this had been nerve wrecking for him. A lot was riding on this deal, the fate of his lineage as well as people rested on the decision that would be made today. His people were depending on him, they were being slaved and oppressed. The land was being raped by those who knew nothing of respect, only war and total domination. The people of Harmonia were no strangers to war, but they were also a free loving people. Ideas were shared openly, talks of politics, personal views on life, every subject has been discussed openly without the fear of prejudice or action from the government or ruling body. There or course would be a sharing of ideas that turned into brawls, but in the end there was no real threat to how you expressed yourself. He could only imagine the way things were now, the silence of his people. His people were now forced to abide by rules old, rules that had been discarded. Rodrigo could feel the weight of a nation on his shoulders at this very moment, as if the sound of the wails of agony and oppression screamed in his ear. Yet like the bull that represented his family for so long, he stayed strong for his people.
Hearing the door beginning to open once more, Rodrigo turned to see the Emperor and a young beautiful woman enter. Rodrigo was a bit confused at who this woman was, he had not heard of their being an Empress. Standing as they grew closer to where he was sitting, he nodded to the Emperor for his thanks for patiently waiting. As the woman Nephthys gave a curtsy and complimenting Rodrigo on his good looks, he placed his right arm at his waist and gave a bow. “My Dear lady Nephthys, you should have no worries. I have never met a lady as stunning as the one who so gracefully stands before me.” Rodrigo said taking her hand as he rose, giving it the lightest of kisses, he could tell this was just a young lady who had been raised well in court. She was proper enough and knew how to act around nobility; this was nothing new to him. The compliment seemed somewhat hallow or possibly a probe for a certain reaction from him. It was possible she as trying to gauge the kind of man Rodrigo was, noble women could be snakes with teeth as sharp as knives.
She was more than likely there to help Thracius to probe his character, as well as to test his sincerity in this request.” Of course Sir, the opinion of a woman is never one to be left unheard. Many men disregard the opinion of women, thinking they are inferior. It is only they think in a different way than us, thus their prospective sheds light on shadows we have missed.” Rodrigo replied with a smile looking to both of them as he spoke, “An the beauty of the fair lady is a breath of fresh air of course.” He did have to admit she was a beauty to behold, her curls sat upon her shoulders perfectly. Never moving as she seemed to glide across the floor, her seemingly soft skin was a glow. Her smile was radiant; her eyes seemed to draw you into them. She was a slim woman, but it was the type of figure that was built to be held and touched.
Rodrigo nodded to her words, her words and looks were far from subtle. “I feel at home already my dear lady.” he said with a smile. At her mention of Elibe he closed his eyes and gave a shake of his head, “I fear my lady that she would no longer be the wondrous and beautiful land she once was. If memory serves you well, the Highland Empire to the west has taken arms against my nation of Harmonia. We were unable to beat them back over the border; it has been a sad few months. My people are no longer free to be who they are, they are no longer able to think freely.” He did find it a bit odd at how she spoke of the Emperor, saying ‘My’ not our or the. Was it possible this was his mistress, or perhaps she a wife of another noble the Emperor had been seduced by. Whoever she was, she had influence over the Emperor. An when one has influence over a man of such power, was a dangerous person indeed. Especially a noble woman, she no longer only had sharp teeth but the venom to accompany them. He would have to be careful around this woman.
“I was discussing with the Emperor, the possibility of my people to seek asylum in his lands. It would prove to be mutually beneficial; my people will find work and safety while giving a boost to the local work force. The great minds of my land will provide new technological Advances, a new culture, and the artisan styles of my land here. With the influx of people to this land, it could also bolster the military force. Many soldiers will be finding their way here, many seasoned men.” Rodrigo offered a brief description of the details they had been previously discussing. “I would personally with the blessing of the Emperor, oversee of the people who enter. I have enlisted the help of some money lenders, to construct embassies here and also In the Trade city. My people will be screened and documented as they enter, to ensure the security of the lands from the unsavory. It would also open up new trade routes, and the taxes from such routes will also boost the coffers.” Rodrigo said with confidence and sincerity, he was simply repeating what had earlier been discussed. He knew she would have some questions, and Rodrigo was ready for her challenge
